The MENTORIA
Studio is used to design and develop interactive scenarios,
combining the power of MENTORIA's visual scans, with the power
of the imagination.
With the MENTORIA studio, it is possible to tone up the site
with music, images, text, behaviors, events, etc.
Using MENTORIA Studio, authentic scanned representation can
be customized, for instance by adding interactive “hot
spots,” fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and electricity
panels. Each such object can be manipulated during play time,
and react to user's actions (such as clicks or movement) or
to other events.
Security managers can devise theoretical and practical scenarios
used to train and prepare new personnel (for example, familiarizing
them with evacuation procedures in the case of an attack or
earthquake) or refreshing skills (locating a specific object
such as their floor's fire extinguisher or exit and answering
questions about what specific procedures to follow).
Wrong behavior can then be automatically detected by the system,
which will give the trainee a chance to restart the scenario
and correct it.
Personnel are instructed and tested in the actual environment
using a standard PC for maximum effectiveness while requiring
no additional office resources or special training sessions
– all training can be done in their own office, with minimal
overhead.
With the addition of these scenarios, MENTORIA becomes
a powerful simulation tool.
